  21. 1st'ly - you'll have to be running an X-Window client at your end (eg
  22. AmiWin) otherwise those programs will NOT show up at your end.

  24. 2nd'ly - usually, when you dial in, you will be granted a IP number for
  25. the phone line.... eg  thisplace.soandso.ac.uk  etc etc

  27. just do a "who" whilst logged on, and you'll see where you are in the
  28. end brackets normally    id  process place (from here)

  30. then just use that IP number.... BUT i would _NOT_ recommend running
  31. X-Windows clients over a 14.4K line...is is not nice at all.
